FCS Online Orientation

Family Court Services is offering an online orientation for parents involved in the Family Court process. The orientation, and accompanying parent handbook, includes important information about logistics and resources, helping children through their parents’ separation, and how to develop a parenting plan. A video illustrates the need for parents to keep their children out of adult conflicts.

The orientation is mandatory for all parents who have child custody and visitation issues. When a parent has finished the online orientation and had the other parent served with their motion (the document filed with the Court), either parent may contact Family Court Services to schedule a mediation session with one of the Court's trained professionals.
