An owner of rental real property may appear and participate in a small claims action by a property agent under certain circumstances.
The property agent must manage the rental of the owner's property. Further, the owner must have hired the property agent principally to manage the rental property and not principally to represent the owner in small claims court. In addition, the claim must relate to the rental property.
