Subpoenaed Records

Subpoena Duces Tecum Process
for
Northern Jurisdiction Preliminary Hearings
Effective July 15, 2013

All requests for subpoenaed records must be addressed to the Hall of Justice in Redwood City at 400 County Center as the new court location for delivery and lodging. Subpoenaed records will no longer be accepted at the 1050 Mission Road address for northern cases and therefore should not be addressed for delivery at that location. The Redwood City clerk's office will ensure that subpoenaed records received for cases scheduled on the northern preliminary hearing calendars are forwarded to the appropriate northern judicial officer in time for the scheduled hearing.

The prosecuting and/or defense attorneys will need to stipulate to a date and set northern cases for "Subpoenaed Records Status and Further Proceedings" on a Redwood City preliminary hearing calendar five court days in advance of the scheduled northern preliminary hearing date in order for the Court to address the status and issue of subpoenaed records. This date may be set in the courtroom, or by calling the Clerk's Office.
