Outstanding Warrants for Northern and Southern Cases
You may come to the clerk's office in Redwood City* or call (650) 261-5200, and request to be placed on calendar to surrender on the warrant. If your case number begins with a SC (Unlimited Criminal) you must contact your attorney or the Private Defender Program to place yourself on calendar. The Private Defender Program can be reached at (650) 298-4000.
To place yourself on calendar the same day, you must arrive at the clerk's office window no later than
8:15 a.m.

Modification of Sentence for Northern and Southern Cases
Misdemeanor cases: Requests for modification of sentence for defendants on court probation (not supervised probation) can be made by coming to the clerk's office* in Redwood City or by calling (650) 261-5200, to request that you be placed on calendar for modification of sentence. If you are on supervised (formal) probation, you must contact your probation officer to request a modification of probation. The Probation Department can be reached at (650) 363-4244.
Felony cases: Requests for modification of sentence for defendants on supervised (formal) probation must be handled through the probation department.
