Have 35 years experience as M&A, corporate, finance securites and real estate attorney, including with international cross-cultural matters. Experience includes serving as general counsel for E*Trade International, as senior partner of Kinsella, Boescut, Fujikana & Towle in LA (A Gibson Dunn spin-off) for 15 years (1984-99) and with White & Case, a Chinese firm in Singapore; and as clerk for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Have presented cross-cultural negotiation programs to over 1000 attorneys within past 3 years, featuring humorous mock negotiations between U.S., Chinese, Japanese, Indian, Turkish, Mexican and Spanish business people. Have found that my cross-cultural negotiation experience has frequently been quite helpful in resolving business disputes here in California. |
