| Mediation Approach: |
My primary approach is a facilitative mediation style. I believe the disputing parties are the best sources for solutions to their problems and my job as mediator is to guide, help identify issues, support and re-frame important information to help move people through impasse. I may use bits of directive style to ensure people are heard and to facilitate process. I also incorporate reality-testing for clients to think through the resolutions they are considering and to help ensure there is a balanced resolution. |
