Mediation
Approach:

I favor the facilitative mediation process, but find that there are situations where directive mediation is more productive, especially if a party is incurring substantial fees advocating for an outcome insonsistent with the law of facts presented.

I have over twenty-five (25) years experience as an attorney handling probate, conservatorship, guardianship and trust cases, including administrative disputes, accountings, placement, visitation, and general probate litigation. I have extesive experience with the unique issues often generated by incapacity, and/or the blended family. I specialize in the development of creative durable solutions through interst based negotiations. My mediation style requires that all parties be personally present, at least for the initial session. Participation by tele-conference may be accommodated under ciertain circumstances, but must be arranged in advance.
