| Arbitration Approach: |
My approach differs depending on the case. In all cases I attempt to develop repor with both clients. How much time I spend depends on whether the case is between two hard headed businessmen or parents dealing with child custody. I don't like giving long lectures about what is going to happen during mediation. I assume that the attorneys have already addressed those issues. But as part of the process of making the clients feel that I don't have any bias, I give them an overview of what to expect from me. |

I have been litigating cases for more than thirty years. I have come to the conclusion that arbitrations and mediations are a much better way of fairly resolving disputes than trials. |
